The Jordan River Revue was originally conceived as a benefit performance featuring Indiana University students to raise money for a new auditorium. Though strongest in the 1920s and 1930s, the Revue continued until 1966. Notable performers through the years included students Hoagy Carmichael and Charles "Bud" Dant.
